For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jews first, and also to the Greek. — Romans 1:16
Ironing a Tie
Before ironing a tie, try to follow some of the tips suggested in our article " Dealing with Wrinkles in a Tie." Ironing a tie should be a last resort measure; ironing may damage your tie, and makes it look flat. If you must iron your tie, please observe the following:
- Cover it with a clean cotton cloth for protection.
- Keep the iron at low temperature.
- If the tie is made of silk or polyester, the iron temperature should not exceed 140°C.
- If the tie is made of wool, the iron temperature should not exceed 170°C.
